wHO AM I?

My name is David Leonardo Landinez Gaona, born in Bogotá Colombia in 2004. I moved to the states in 2021 after finishing highscool, looking for a distinctive way to find myself and evolve as an individual inside of this modern jungle. I am currently double majoring in Business administration and visual arts. (I know how different is one from another) however, I identify myself as a multi- talented person, and I believe that my artistic approach Inspired by my mentors Julian and Sara along with the heartfelt and competitive reality taught by my parents will give me an advantage in different commercial and personal projects IN THE FUTURE.

i HAVE ALWAYS FELT SPECIALLY ATTRACTED BY THE 80’S art DECO ASTHETHIC, A BALANCED STEP BACK FROM MODERNISM INJECTED WITH SOME CHARACHTERISTIC TRAITS OF NEOCLASICISM IS THE PERFECT SMOOTH MIX FOR MY EYES AND MY PERSONALITY. through PHOTOGRAPHY I’VE TRIED TO ILLUSTRATE THIS FEELING AND STYLE, EVENTUALLY EXPANDING IT INTO DIFFERENT PROJECTS

wHAT MAKES MY PHOTOGRAPHY DIFFERENT?

What else can make a picture to have a vintage retro look better than vintage retro gear? that is why i have invested in a peculiar line of film era lenses for my digital photography. That's right! manual focus and manual aperture. I believe that autofocus is cheating in photography (unless shooting sports and highspeed scenarios, get that). The point is, i mix modern photography with as many Og photography elements as i can. These visual effects are unique and cannot be done or comparable with editing and modern equipment. knowledge and skill are also needed to get the results i want to get out of my camera. nowadays everybody can do the cliche photography phrase of "freeze a moment". That is why I attempt to do it in a more distinctive way no commercial, no trendy, but the way it seems artistic and esthetic, at least technically, once my sister stated in one of her gorgeous illustrations; "Be like everybody is the same nobody" -gUABINARESA
