God's Light, 24x36 Limited to 100 pieces

$625.00

Part of my fine art collection titled A Forgotten Home.

This photograph was captured at Canyonlands National Park around 6 am during the summer of 2024.

The light visible in this image depicts a natural phenomenon known as crepuscular rays. This occurs when low angle sunlight passes through atmospheric dust and haze, scattering the light and making the sunbeams visible as they move across the landscape. Although the rays appear to diverge, they are nearly parallel, with perspective and scale creating the illusion of separation.

The early morning conditions, combined with the vastness of the canyon, transform the scene into a quiet and almost abandoned space, evoking the feeling of a land that once held life, memory, and presence. This moment reflects the essence of A Forgotten Home, a place shaped by time, light, and silence.
